Our Story

Building a generation safe from abuse and exploitation.

Action Against Child Sexual Abuse Initiative (ACSAI) is a women-led, registered non-profit organization in Nigeria dedicated to using the power of communication and technology to combat sexual violence both online and offline. We take a targeted yet comprehensive approach to closing critical gaps, addressing the growing prevalence of sexual violence, and creating safer communities for women and children.

Our Vision

A world where no woman or child experiences sexual harassment or abuse, and where silence and discrimination against survivors no longer exist.

Our Mission

To transform societal responses to violence against women and children through education, advocacy, sensitization, and awareness, empowering communities to protect and support survivors.

Our Values

  • Innovation & Empowerment
  • Compassion in Action
  • Relentless Advocacy & Collaboration
  • Integrity & Trust
  • Survivor-Centricity

The Four Pillars

Our Holistic Framework

We combat child sexual abuse through a comprehensive approach that targets roots, symptoms, and long-term recovery.

Sensitization

Raising awareness by equipping communities and survivors with the information they need to prevent and respond to sexual violence.

Partnership

Collaborating with international and local partners to design innovative tools and strategies to reduce sexual violence.

Empowerment

Connect women and girls to real opportunities, breaking down barriers and enabling them to achieve financial independence and personal growth.

Psychosocial Support

Providing survivors with access to professional counseling, therapy, and referral services, ensuring no one faces trauma alone.
