GIRLS CAN STOP CLIMATE CHANGE

Action Against Child Sexual Abuse Initiative(ACSAI) is a women-led non-profit focused on leveraging communication technology to mitigate violence against women and children, especially girls.

We have identified the need to amplify girls' voices online/social media in line with the SDG priorities of 2030 and contribute to addressing climate change through our project, Girls Can Stop Climate Change, an offshoot of the SAFE HUB CLUB(SHC). The SHC is a digital club for children and young people through their schools to become future ambassadors for advancing SDG priorities such as Climate Change.

Girls Can Stop Climate Change is a program for girls broadcasted on different social media channels, including Tiktok, YouTube Shots, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube for kids, Facebook for kids, and Linkedin. We have identified a young climate change activist as the host of this program.

Our goals are to

Place girls at the forefront as key actors to end climate change(Girl Empowering).

Provide educative content for children and young people on social media.

Sensitize both children and young people on their roles and to get involved in stopping climate change.

Engage schools in challenges that advance the fight against climate change

Create more awareness of the dangers of climate change.

We are seeking partners to collaborate with on this project to provide funding for the logistics and promotion of this project to reach a larger audience across the world.

We are making our contribution to the fight against climate change through the Girls Can Stop ClImate Change program.
